We specialize in migrating large audio, video and film, collections to modern digital files. Our combination of experience with audio and video engineering, as well as information technology, allows us to offer you the best archival services possible.

Mass Productions has earned an excellent reputation with Universities, Colleges, and Museums for digitizing large audio, video, and film archives. We can transfer all of your outdated formats to preservation files for permanent storage, and include free access versions for online streaming.

We have over 30 years of experience in media recovery and reformatting to digital. We know how to work around problems with audio, video, and film media. After digitizing to an archival file, we provide restored copies to remove hum, hiss, and clicks from audio. We can stabilize, and enhance video. We also color correct 16mm and 35mm film that has color faded.

Mass Productions is an active member of The Association for Recorded Sound Collections, New England Archivists, Associated Audio Archivists, and the Boston Audio Society. We comply with the National Archives and Records Administration regulations for restoring and digitally archiving Audio, Video, and Film. These are necessary requirements for grant funding eligibility. We can provide assistance writing the technical sections of grant proposals to assure accuracy, and greatly increase your chances for approval.

Mass Eye and Ear had a very unique project for us. They had two 30 year old laserdiscs that were used daily to teach hearing impaired patients to read lips.
